Two nice surprises today!

First one - my lovely milkmand has given me a copy of the Dairy Diary for 2022. It is stuffed with useful information and lots of fantastic recipes.

Second one - this hand delivered Christmas card - what it is to be known so well by ones friends!

That is why you will always remain an enigma to me.Obviously a gastronome and a person of taste but yet you refuse to acknowledge the tasty goodness of that veggie from Brussels.

I used to think the same about beetroot, until I had it roasted.

OMG is the Dairy Diary still going? My Mum had these for years and years from when they first came out. I even had them for a few years. Little recipes, tips and just enough space to put your appointments, notes etc.

Have you tried it raw - grated in a salad? - Delicious!

Yes - A5 size - a weeks diary across two pages with a tasty recipe at the bottom of the page. It also has Conversion tables, handy hints, and nutritional information.

Thanks

I used to say the same but my dear wife roasted some and they were rather nice. I’m not sure if there was some other flavouring.
