Two charged with child organ-harvesting conspiracy

Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, 55, and Ike Ekweremadu, 60, both Nigerian nationals, will appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court later.

Police said a child had been safeguarded and officers were working with partners on continued support.

The charges follow an inquiry by the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime team.

Organ harvesting involves removing parts of the body, often for commercial gain and against the will of the victim.

Horrific … :scream:

For once, we agree Omah.

Nigerian MP apparently

Is anyone REALLY surprised? Not the first import either. Remember the “Torso in the Thames” case back in 2001? No doubt others have taken place but better disposed of. That’s the problem with having uncivilised savages living in our midst. BTW - Human flesh has been on sale via The Dark Web for years. There’s a whole world now in our cities that normal folk are totally unaware of.

“Ike Ekweremadu is a Nigerian politician and lawyer, who has served in the Senate of Nigeria since 2003 and was the Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate.”

Hope he dies and rots in hell

And people still think the death penalty is wrong ! :rage:

I don’t know any details of this child’s background, but I would gladly press the button to kill anybody that harms a child for their own financial benefit .

More details are emerging:

The 15-year-old alleged victim has been taken into care.

The defendants live in Nigeria but have family in London, magistrates were told. Both are accused of conspiracy to arrange and/or facilitate the travel of another person with a view to exploitation. The pair were asked by the clerk for their address, to which they both replied: “Nigeria”.

The court heard the prosecution needed permission to proceed because of jurisdiction issues. Most of the alleged offences took place in the UK, magistrates heard. The Ekweremadus, who were arrested two days ago, have been remanded in custody to appear at the same court on 7 July.

Mr Ekweremadu was recently made a visiting professor at the University of Lincoln. A University of Lincoln spokesman said: “Visiting professors are often, as is in this case, non-resident at the university, unpaid and advisory. We are deeply concerned about the nature of these allegations but as this is an active police investigation, we cannot comment further at this stage.”

Capital punishment for those vile b…s
Sorry for bad language but…

The police have to nail this one, no mistakes or else this pair will likely do a runner.

That would be why they were denied bail, no doubt.

There is more to this story .
They are man and wife and their daughter has kidney failure .

and that excuses them I suppose??

Firstly, yes, I agree, I don’t doubt there is more to this story, there nearly always is.

But sorry Muddy, their daughter having kidney failure does not give them any to steal that young lad’s organs from him. It’s wicked.

It is wicked I agree and I don’t condone it at all
Organ trafficking goes on all the time especially were money and poverty collide .
How many people in poor Pakistan villages have sold a kidney and how many rich people especially in the Middle East have bought one ?
In Nigeria as in many parts of the world a rich persons life is worth more than that of a poor person .
Apparently organ harvesting is rife in Nigeria and I wonder why ( if they are found guilty ) they chose to bring the boy to the U.K. and in a country where money speaks did they just not buy one there ?
