Every article about this contest comments on how bitterly divided the Conservative Party is - they really need to pull together behind one unity candidate - if they can’t put their differences aside and pull together for the sake of the country - and their party’s own survival - they may as well give up now and declare a General Election.
The general public are getting fed up with being the victims of the Tory Party’s internecine strife.
This is probably why neither have declared they’re standing:
Well, I for one hope that her speech at the Tory Party Conference is never forgotten all it needed was the occasional “Boom Boom”. If a person who made that speech can become the PM of the UK then there is hope for all of us. It should remain on the party website as an inspiration to us all for ever.
(I am assuming it was the speech about cheese)
I wish it was the cheese speech. Her one as PM was woeful. She kept pausing and looked like she was looking down the sides of the auditorium in case the men in white coats had come to take her away. Have never seen anything like it!!
Dabbling on a national scale is never advisable.

Rishi is creeping ahead while BJ is almost static (and hasn’t confirmed standing yet, AFAIK).
If BJ has got another 50+ supporters then, surely, they wouldn’t be shy of rallying round the flag …
There are only 130 undeclared supporters remaining …
I hope that Boris realizes he hasn’t a snowball in hells chance
and doesn’t muddy the waters by even trying.

That dreadful man has given up the fight! YAY!
He did a lot of harm but, we are in unprecedented times, and, he did irreparable damage in his request for separation whilst he partied, onward and upward as always, that is the only answer forward, only time will tell what was happening.
Here’s the new cabinet, with the new Tory theme tune
I think that this is actually how a fair few of the Tory membership view the concept of multiculturalism, which is why Truss got elected last time and why Mordant might still be in with a shout
Pith helmets and Turbans a Heady Mix!
