I cannot imagine experiencing that. And never want to.
My heart goes out to all who were unlucky to be in the path of the tornadoes.

I thought people got warnings of tornado’s though, in time to take shelter?
Not nearly fast enough. At the most 15min warning. Night is worse because you can’t see anything, you could actually go in the wrong direction. Over the years I worked Emergency Disaster Services, responding do dozens of disasters. Tornados are worst because there may be no warning, they are extremely unpredictable.
