Tonight's Corrie

Well, it’s been a while since this thread was addressed and how so much has changed.

I’m glad to see that Betty’s funeral was dealt with sincerely and sensitively. What a grand old lady she was, in real life, I mean.

I just cannot believe how ugly Nigel Pivaro has become with age as Terry Duckworth. Sorry, I know that’s personal, but that’s how he comes across. Conniving as usual as Terry, he will brain-wash Tommy and try to steal him away from his friends. I hope Tommy has the brains to realise what his dad is doing.

The rest is becoming a bit farcical with David and Kylie with the salon; Sunita and Karl; Sally’s bid to become Carla’s partner in the business. Give me strength!

The only really serious issue going on is the Peter/Leanne/Simon thing and I’m finding that storyline very hard to digest.

Yes I find that with Corrie, you have to have a break from it now and again, also I am sick of Eastenders, how anyone can live with that dreadful wallpaper they have Shirleys house I dont know.Dont watch Emmerdale now as Annie and Sam have gone Whoa that was along time ago!.

As the storyline goes Betty had been gone for quite a few weeks now not working in the pub and yet customers have been going in and asking for ‘hotpot’. Well what I want to know is that if they didn’t have the recipe then how come they have been serving it???

Can anyone answer that :confused2::017:

They had a freezer full of them??? ;-)

 Yes, that is one answer to it Mags:lol:

Never mind, now Sean has Betty’s long treasured Hotpot
recipe, he will probably give up his job in the knicker factory and become top chef of the Rovers!

Last time I watched Corrie, Annie was the landlady.

Well, well, well…Terry Duckworth opening a lap dancing club! That will give Norris something to get his teeth into

Talk about having a face like a slapped backside…Sally’s plans at being partners with Carla has backfired.

What about tonight’s final scene … the big question is: Will Sally and Kevin get back together again?

a lap dancing club! … When , Where , What … never mind Norris and Emily Bishop , Thats me back watching corrie

Yeh but he’s dropped the recipe paper in the pan and has ruined it now

Apparently they get married again  Third time lucky:?::?:

I think Sean will go on to make an even better hot pot;-)

The lap dancing club will be opening up right next door to Nick’s Bistro!

Do they? Maybe that will be to give Sally another storyline as she has now lost the one at the factory;-)

I wonder if Marcus will help him concoct the perfect hot pot

Good god Ken will be in his element , down the Library, then on to the Rovers (for his half a bitter) down to the bistro summat to eat (Deidrie cant cook ,and there is no hotpot left at the rovers) then onto the lap dancing club , all done for the night before he goes back home to bed at 10pm .

Oooh … I can tell you’re a staunch fan of Corrie, Dabby!

:lol: Great description Dabby…Deidre will be bursting a vein in her neck when she finds out Ken has been to the lap dancing club

This is all sooo true :) Oh and Deidre will probably have a little cry and sob, Ken how could you :-D:-D

Wonder if Deidre will take up lap-dancing lessons like she did with pottery? On the other-hand, that doesn’t bear thinking about!
