Beautiful photos Eliza. Did you break the ice so the birds could get to the water? Would love to know the tool you used for that task.
@AnnieS Thank you , I gave it several wacks with my Trowel , i thought it was neat how it broke into a pizza slice , 
Edit , yes i did break it for the Birds but it soon froze over again and I had to melt it with some warm water …
It reminded me of a friend long ago having to keep going out and breaking the ice on a Trough for his animals to get a drink …

Thank you @Minx Ive got plenty of layers on … when my fingers get cold i turn the heating up …
last night I got to warm and took a quilt of my bed , I think Temps went up a degree just 1 makes a differance each way …
Whats the Temps where you are ? warmer than us in uk maybe .
