I recommend Harry Brown 2009
Starring Michael Caine.
Caine is a retired Royal Marine, Harry Brown, who’s best friend is killed by a gang of young thugs in London.
Caine turns vigilante to avenge his friend’s death
Coarse language with ef and cee words. Worth watching 8/10 from me.
“Not a lot of people know that”
That’s good but I think “A shot in the dark” which came after is even better.
I remember it well, excellent film.
Filmed on an old housing estate, in South London, due to be demolished.
Another brilliant Caine movie.
Gran Torino and Bridges Of Madison County. Yes I’m a fan of Clint Eastwood.
Dark Waters,a true story set in the USA,must watch till the end as it gives more information.
A great Dustin Hoffman as always, but I wouldn’t want to watch that film again. I was a young teenager when I first saw it, it left me traumatized
Yes, there were scenes in that film that weren’t easy to watch.
I won’t be adding it to my DVD collection…
Out Of Africa, Has to be one of my favourite films ever.
Starring Meryl Streep & Robert Redford not forgetting the beautiful music of the late great John Barry.
