Thrifty mum wins budget shed of the year with £200 recycled creation

The 41-year-old mum of four — who only recently got her allotment after waiting years — said: “It’s been a real labour of love.

“I haven’t stopped dancing since I found out the news.

“I always enjoyed upcycling and reinventing items, which is even more important now that prices are on the rise again.

“I hope those that see my shed can look at it and say, ‘I can do that’.

  • Yes! Good for her :+1: What a great idea…maybe I could dismantle the decking and redesign a shed out of the wood…

That looks great!
I love allotments and have always fancied having one to grow veg and soft fruits - and have a cosy little shed as a peaceful bolt-hole! :grinning:

This lady has done a great upcycling job with her shed :+1:

She has done really well with her shed! Let’s hope the winds & rain of the autumn don’t damage it

She has done a great job hasn’t she?! :house:

Oh I’m sure she’ll make some scaffolding with old pvc piping or something to secure it! :joy:

I think it looks great & she has made sure it gets lots of light.
I just hate the wind when I see the problems it causes for many people!
