I think it depends on what you eat. We usually have a toasted sandwich in the morning and dinner around 18:00,
That probably right it appears that it is the overnight fasting period that is important
We eat 3 meals a day, but not big meals.
Breakfast: Porridge
Main Meal at lunch time
Supper: 1 sandwich or cereal about 6pm.
Breakfast = 1 bottle of Fortisip.
Lunch = 2 bottles of Fortisip.
Tea = 1 bottle of Fortisip.
The two of us wouldn’t get through that fry-up as our main meal of the day. There would be bacon left over for sandwiches.

I’ve been doing the 5 : 2 diet, which recommends fasting two days a week.
Works for me, and you soon get used to it.
One meal a day unless I’m super hungry then a very, very late lunch…low carb but struggling to get back into the swing of things after my Passover (Easter) seaside holiday.
