“How ya go’n?” surely

we’re not that posh! - but the transition from a dyed in the wool pom to a real ocker is an interesting process and can take years? right bruce 'mate?

I don’t know, I’ve lived here nearly 60 years. My kids claim I still have an English accent.

Oh my god they didn’t take ya tonsils out then - I thought they always did that when ya had half ya brain removed?

My tonsils and adenoids were removed and my sinuses cleaned at Cheltenham General in the butchery that went on in the 1950s in the early days of the NHS.

When I emigrated from the UK to Australia the collective IQ of both countries went down.
