Yeah, I used one to deliver repaired radios to customers. Plenty of sacking in first to cushion the road bumps and off I went.

Now that reminds me of Granville’s bike in “Open All Hours”. 
Our town council has just been awarded £20million by the Government in order to refurbish the town centre. My God, does it need the money spending on it.

I remember that, but would never eat horse/pony meat anyway, to me they are special & not for eating, it would be like eating a pet cat or dog.

We’ve been awarded a grant too, but infighting combined with too many options from nest featherers and so far nothing has been agreed🤬

yea I remember returning to the town of my youth on a rare visit to UK - were once had been a bustling town with a variety of shops including WW- now were all secondhand shops with second hand goods - no traffic anymore a very peaceful dead town centre??

A lot of places are like that now, sadly. Retail parks out of town, accessed by car…and the actual towns are full of takeaways, hairdressers, coffee shops, and charity shops. Unless its a city of course…they are slower to erode away.
Yes, I have commented on this earlier with the retail parks. I think they will diminish too. We get our groceries delivered and quite of lot of other things too. Today it was a pack of stainless screws, some bulbs from the bathroom and a 45 pack of bog rolls.

Also…do you know something we don’t regarding the bog rolls? Are we due a shortage?..
Actually you could carry that much but why would we?
The bog rolls? It’s simpler (and cheaper) not to have to buy them as frequently.
