My daughter (No 2 of 4) in Bath has just phoned to say her new glass house has just been completely destroyed by a neighbour’s shed… she was filming through the window at the time it ploughed through neighbour’s fence.
I’m sure someone will be able to shed some light on it
Never Cast a shed until spring is out!
Just been out in the storm, very bad here in Hampshire, quite a bit of storm damage I saw on my travels, also branches from trees strewn everywhere, driving was quite hazardous ,as some were enormous, stay safe everyone and don’t venture out unless it’s absolutely necessary, I certainly won’t be chancing going out again.
Sheds and fences down here, the wind seems to be getting worse.
I’m just to your east and it’s getting worse as the day ages🤬
Stay safe both of you,LD.
sitting in my neighbours garden is a huge bouncy castle which has come from 3 doors up . It keeps flying up and trying to climb over my 6ft fence into mine . My new concrete posts and featherlite fencing is holding up well but two of the posts are leaning inwards so hope the panels stay put . Think the ground is sodden . Im hating every moment of it i wish it would end
Our fence at the bottom of our garden is down, only a tree behind supporting it.
I went outside to look at it but came back in quickly as I could hardly stand upright.
Next door but one has their fence gone over, the worst is past I think.
Hope he wasn’t in it.
I popped out to my garden just now, took some wicker empty baskets down from the wall, and checked rest of the garden. Next door’s little gazebo was being blown, I reckon the fabric could start tearing.
Same here, Susan.
Its getting worse and worse here, and I really dont like it one bit.
TV Aerial down on the Bungalow at back of me , theres some really strong gust at the moment , glad i had my Aerial took down when i had the Chimney pointed last year …It was winds like this that took my neighbours Chimmney down , smashing a hole in the roof a couple of years ago .
Where my son lives in Newbury, it’s horrific there, a very long wall has completely collapsed and damaged his car.
He sent me a video of the damage, I couldn’t believe it, shocking to watch.
My brother in Wiltshire has the neighbours shed roof in his garden .
Yes, its pretty grim here Muddy. You’ve escaped all this.
Those parrots are really colourful, I’d love to see them in the wild.
Hope you’re having good time. How long are you there for?
Wind easing a bit here in Bristol. Gets gusty as showers pass through. But touch wood (my head) no damage to the house. Just some repairs to fence panel
So far, so good, then Chilli.
Chimneys around here has been hit by storms , some years back, it was horrendous, I dread to think what damage this storm has done to many, so dangerous.
Oh great it’s started hailing now just as I have to go down the road to my daughter’s to look after her kids whilst she goes to Tescos
