There is talk of Rationing Diesel!

On the TV news this evening they was some talk of rationing diesel if that half witted Yank goes ahead with his plans to stop exporting the stuff.

US President Donald Trump has said he backs calls from US politicians to restrict exports to relieve fuel prices inside the country.

Don’t know what form rationing will take but in the past it has been odd and even rego plates alternate days.

I only have a quarter tank at the moment so it might be wise to get out there and panic buy.

Our local supermarket has just put diesel up to £1.96 litre.
Being as everything is delivered by lorries it will raise the cost of living significantly.
Fear not though…Putin has got loads of diesel and for a few favours he will send us lots…

We’ve reached 2,15 euro for petrol and 2,35 for diesel and still rising!
Consequences are evident, almost everything is imported nowadays. :anguished:

For all the old folks, diesel is now £9.00 a gallon but, just for perspective, 20 cigarettes are £19.50 so, if you drive and smoke, its getting expensive!

When does an incentive become limitations of freedoms?
If you’re wealthy or a member of parliament it won’t affect you…so it’s just us commoners then.

A mere pittance, they are over $50 (£25) a pack here, it has lead to a drop in revenue and a thriving black market.

On the bright side less than 10% of Australian adults smoke.

You have to feel sorry for the kids, it must cost a fortune, trying to look grown up nowadays.

In the land of plenty Bruce…
In the land of not so plenty there are still lots of people who smoke here mainly from the lower classes, and those that don’t are now seen using vapes.
And Ketamine seems to be the drug of choice these days.

Sorted bruv

Innit!

Around here in my wedge of West Sussex, it is known as Special K and it seems to be plentiful, and, according to our postie, easily obtained at a reasonably price, whatever that might be.

I am in a quandary. After returning from Canberra I have a quarter tank of fuel, do I join the rush to fill up before diesel goes up to $4 a litre or do I wait until that moron in Washington realises that Iran has him by the balls and gives in to their demands?

What to do?

Tricky one Bruce, pensioners who are still working ain’t short of a few bob, lets wait and see.
