'The way my boss monitored me at home was creepy'

If an employer expected me to work from home, then I would expect the relevant tools of the job to be provided, unless I was a self employed contractor. In which case I would have the relevant tools.

No employer has the right to spy on employees, but having said that, as a driver I was spied on via GPS & tachographs. But they are not invading my private space, just watching me doing my job.

Yes, that’s just you driving about, so they can check you are going where you are meant to be, and taking the required breaks (I assume), nobody is actually making your personal space visible to every T, D, & H, which is what this woman experienced when she walked into the office!

One summer in my early 20s I worked in the counting room of a small casino. Now there they had cameras everywhere, but I would have taken my work home with me gladly, unfortunately that would mean prison time. Where hopefully they spy on you day and night. :grinning: :grinning:
