If you pay attention to what is actually happening in world news, Iran is in the process of making Nazi Don looking like a buffoon. The so-called, most powerful military in the world has been stalemated by tiny Iran, Nazi Don is currently “hitting the ceiling” over the “depleted” Iranian missle taking down at least 2 US fighters!

In my opinion, this is now getting serious.
Trump, the most powerful man in the world, has lost the plot.
He is not only threatening Iran with complete destruction, he is also now threatening Putin.
Unless Trump is brought under control, this could very easily start a much larger Conflict which would seriously harm all of us.
Whenever I hear him speaking he genuinely seems to be becoming increasingly deranged. His rambling utterances are really quite worrying!
I gather that today was peppered with swear words … not a good look for a President who is presumbaly in control and we’re all supposed to place our trust in.
Trump is now, and has been for quite awhile, cognitively declining, and as a matter of fact, Joe Biden is still in better shape cognitively than Nazi Don.

It’s unbelievable. Particularly bizarre for a man who was just being blessed by some evangelicals and being compared to Jesus at the Easter event at the White House to send such a message on Easter Sunday. To sully such a day with his gutter mouth when he has a large Christian following in the US is not a good move for him politically.

Trump does have a strong following amongst White Christian Nationalist, the KKK, MAGA, and Turning Point USA, aside from these racist groups there is not a strong following of Trump by Christians. In the 2024 elections 89.1 million eligible voters did not vote, and Trump only won by 1.6 % of the popular vote. He did win big with the electoral vote but that vote is easily manipulated by redistricting, which is commonly used by political groups to swing an election.
I seem to have underestimated the US military leadership. I had thought that the lead general who was sacked should have resigned before the start of the war with Iran - surely he would have known it was doomed to failure. So he should have quit himself before the war started as instead it was inevitable that he would be blamed for the failure and sacked. The only difference between the two, both ending out of his job, was one meant leading a sure fire fail.
But it seems the general was fired because he refused to lead an on-the-ground military operation in Iran. He actually faced off to Hegseth & Trump and told them the plan to land troops in Iran would be a costly, bloody failure. He would not lead such a military action. That is, he finally did the right thing. Better late than never I guess.
of course there are sensible and capable people working in the US administration and armed forces. It is one of the most successful countries of our time. Those who have worked so hard are in the same situation as leaders around the world who are astonished with the chaos. It has all happened so fast.
It will be interesting to see if the military bosses will order their troops to carry out Trump’s proposed war crimes. Ie if he decides to attack bridges and power plants.
You’d think the military leadership would resist this, especially being labelled war criminals.
