Not the enclave for the Stockbrokers, most folk tell it as it is.
You can tell her lips are AI generated. Who knows who she really is. What has all this to do with the war in Iran?
That sounds like a common garden Financial District to do with banking and the like, I am more interested in finding out what happens in a Finacial District promoted by the video you put up.
It is a renowned hotbed of anti-Jewish sentiment and in the main a non watch wearing shite hole.
Another one that doesn’t know the difference between jewish and Zionist/Israel.
Not in my young days. It was a guy on a bike, with a long pole with a hook on the end, who swung his bike from one side of the road to the other, turning on the gas street lights.
Yer, England’s green and pleasant land it ain’t. The total pits, take a look.
I called at a school once and asked the head why her school could be spelt with a Z or a S and which was correct. She had no clue and looked quite offended. No surprise there, but give her credit she was a looker at least.
it’s interesting that the vlogger who posted that has Palestinian heritage. Is that the tenuous link to the thread?
No, try again. It is quite obvious.
is it because he is "drone"ing on and on?
Let’s consider what was shown. A bustling and thriving outdoor market selling fresh produce (veg and fish were shown) at decent prices - so exactly what is needed. Much better than ultra-processed ready meals. I reckon many towns would benefit from having a market like this. I’d certainly rather give these stall holders my money rather than simply add to the profits at Tescos.
Pits? What aspect of a great market is pits? And as for green, well it is inner city so the nearest green will likely be Victoria Park. What colour did you expect in an inner city location?
Like I said Davey boy, grumpy old men is a franchise about your life, intolerant and ticked off!
SPAIN.
A weaker ally means a weaker influence
Spain’s unwillingness to spend on defense comes at a cost, particularly to its image abroad. Eastern European NATO members such as Poland and the Baltic states, which are investing heavily in defense, may interpret Spain’s stance as a troubling lack of solidarity at a critical time. Burden-sharing in NATO is ultimately about sharing risk. Spain’s refusal to invest in new capabilities raises concerns over its willingness to do so. And that reluctance carries risks of its own, given the security challenges it faces at home, including tensions with Morocco over the bordering Spanish cities of Ceuta and Melilla, migration pressures, and instability across the Mediterranean, which could require NATO support in the near future.
The practical implications of this credibility gap are already visible. Diplomatically, Spain has found itself sidelined in some high-profile discussions on European security. In August, for instance, Sánchez did not take part in a White House meeting of key European leaders on Ukraine, a signal of its second-tier status among allies. If Madrid is perceived in Washington or Brussels as an unreliable partner on defense, it risks further losing influence, not just on defense and security issues, but in crucial areas such as trade, as well.
The spectacle of being publicly singled out by the US president only deepens the damage. Trump’s sharp criticism of Spain and his threat of tariffs have reinforced the country’s image as an underperforming and unreliable ally. The idea that Sánchez leads “an anti-Trump coalition” may play well domestically, but it has done little to strengthen Spain’s standing abroad. In reality, no such coalition exists, and the Spanish government has failed to find allies or present any credible alternative approach, leaving Spain isolated and exposed. Consequently, Spain’s internal vulnerability is translating into external weakness.
Err, which world leader has not been publicly singled out and criticised by Trump - except for Putin and Netanyahu? I think you’d have to trawl through the leaders of some far flung minor Asian country to find someone Trump has not decided to openly criticise. Oh, he likes Orban and Milei. Wonder why? Nope, the only consistent global badge of honour for a leader of any country is to have received words of “feedback” from dopey Donald.
What a total dreamer, if it appeals to you, fine. You have my sincere blessings to live and be happy in the shite hole, but it’s sure is not for me and many others, I suspect.
I prefer quintessential England, and my current location in the Southdown National Park suits me just fine. Very few neighbours, other than being surrounded by nature and no cars or noise. Enjoy your currys and cheap purchased stale fish.
Sorry Davey but with a view like that of the UK I think you’d be hardpressed to find anyone who’d even want to be your neighbour. How come you haven’t gone to live in the US then as you think it’s so superior to here? You sound very angry and bitter.
You side with Spain mate, the world needs total losers, spongers and unreliable allies. And none fit that description more than Spain.
Shows what little you really know.
