The real question is not the hypothetical one you asked but a simple real one - on what way will Trump’s war on Iran deliver peace & democracy, regime change and Iran no longer being a threat? At this point there is no sign of any of that being achieved, indeed Iran has become more of a threat. How is this war going to help?
A little out of date of course but a useful list. Interestingly as far as democracy goes, Iran is at 147 in the rankings. The US was already listed as a “deficient democracy” in 2020 ranking 36.
Bottom of the list : Venezuela, Syria and Gaza have already been tageted so who is next?

If the world let Iran run its course in nuclear development and letting Iran dictate to international nuclear commission inspections, they have and will continue on their current path and it ignorant to think other wise. (If one wants to discuss it history of taking over the government and not letting the citizens have a fair election and killing it citizens, sure).

That is exactly what is being said. It is called cause and effect. Iran has a history of random attacks in other countries and what they are doing now. Attacking countries that have done nothing to them directly. For example, since Russia attacked Ukraine, should Ukraine attack Russian assets in other countries. That just doesn’t make sense.
The answer to your question is, charges were filed in New York. That means, the court case would happen in New York. None of it has been proven and it just allegations . That is the same in so many cases, for example, why has the prince that had dealing with Epstein been sent back to the US for trial? That is one of hundreds of simulator cases. Accusations are not facts, that is why they are called accusations. Look at all the false accusations that happen here all the time.

That was the time to possibly lead away from anti what ever. But iran had multiple directions they could of taken the accusations. Failure to do so is on them.
Look at the history of negotiations that were attempted with Iran that they did not agree to or agreed to but failed to adhere to them. So assuming things have not changed is a smart estiment.
Yes, negotiations should continue but the first understanding is Iran will only comply when it wants to. Just because negotiations are going on doesn’t mean actions should not stop. Just like Korea and Vietnam and Ukraine and Palestine.
That has not an intelligent move. That would reduce Isreals ability to defend its self. Since its founding in 1948, Israel has been attacked by at least 10 countries and several non-state entities, primarily through the Arab-Israeli wars and regional proxy actions.
I don’t agree with that. I would like the UN troops in both those countries.

Why just pick on Iran? Why not pick on other aggressively dangerous countries? The thread is about Iran
Why think the US actions thus far have helped? Because negotiation with Iran is a lost cause
Why expect a US withdrawal unless their stocks of weapons are depleted? They are not leaving
Why think previous agreements were meaningless? Because one side will never keep to any agreement
Why think Trump asking for future agreements are necessarily not meaningless? Do what?
Why think US/Israel actions these last weeks are helpful? When all else fails and has been tried, stop giving them lines teacher.
Why do you support actions that destablise the world’s economy? Only when it stops larger destabilisation.

How big of a military do you think the US has. That wouldn’t make any sense. That is like the UK taking on the US because the US arrested the former leader of Venezuela. Because it just doesn’t make sense.
It has stop the murder of tens of thousands of Iranian citizens.
The United States have not come close to a depleted weapons supply. It stick piled all around the world too.
Because Iran would not let the international nuclear organization check their progress an development.
Because trump has a good history of making agreements.

If people supported the closing of the world economy during COVID with only incorrect information and the only accomplishment was showing that the government and it’s agencies are not as good as they thought they were.

Please justify your claim the negotiation is a lost cause - all the info from the most recent negotiations were that they were going well. Monitoring after an agreement is possible and well established. The last agreement stopped because the US stopped it, not Iran.
If the US is not leaving then how will it fund, equip and man an endless war? Just saying “they are not leaving” without justification or explanation is an empty claim and a non-answer.
By “giving them lines” I imagine you mean attack and destroy things. How well is that working out? It seems Trump was unaware that Iran might retaliate with their own attacks across the gulf and that Iran could easily close Hormuz - even though both were well documented prior to Trump/Israel strikes. The question was not whether “giving them lines” was the next step, the question was has that worked. Do try to avoid simply repeating the question and instead answer it.
Stops larger destablisation? Good grief, Iran is now causing much wider destablisation in response to Trump’s war. Do you not understand just how destablising this all is? Prevent destablisation? Strewth, this is actively stoking destabilisation.

I’m only asking about the prioritisation of Iran - not about the size of your arsenal.
It is a foolish Trump supporter that raises this. Trump broadcast that he would support am uprising in Iran. They rose up and were gunned down - Trump went very quiet. The murdering stopped when the uprising stopped, not when Trump attacked. And Iranians have now learnt not to believe Trump so they won’t rise up again.
That seems doubtful. You offer no justification and there are lots of signs that the US is not as replete with the right weapons as you claim. But as neither of us have the facts lets wait and see.
That is wrong. The previous agreement and monitoring stopped because the US decided to stop the agreement. (In fact Trump pushed the GOP to make sure it stopped).
Well actually, Trump has a long history of breaking agreements. He is a dumb negotiator who learnt his craft in construction (one off deals, not ongoing agreements) and pretty much bankrupted all his other businesses. He does not have a good history here.
Actually it also removed possible leaders who would have negotiated and put in a new leader who really does not want (or need) to negotiate. In case you had not noticed, Iran is in a stronger position than the US. Iran only needs to keep existing. The US needs to step up into more action, more US lives lost, or walk away.
No, the biggest thread is unintended consequences coming from ill-considered & drastic action - as Trump is now finding out.
