From a UK point of view, we should be making our own stuff and using our own resources, making work for our own workers, and becoming lean and mean. Had we listened to Margaret Thatcher when she said “Buy British” we wouldn’t need to go cap in hand to China, the USA, the EU or anyone else.

In the 2024 electioms Nazi Don had 77 mil voters, Harris had 75 mil, but 89 million eligible voters did not vote, too many extremist candidates, but too be truthful, no candidate Nazi Don has faced would have been half as bad as Nazi Don.

The US should be grateful to Europe, Canada, and all Nato countries rather than vice versa. We have provided a lovely buffer zone and been allies and trading partners since formation of the alliance.

The buffer zone is the Atlantic and the Pacific. And considering the European countries as a buffer zone is an exaggeration at its best. A speed bump at its best.

I do not have to, we just have to witness the rate and scale of bombs and rockets being used. There is no infinite supply. The US also supplies Israel with their bombs and missiles - so the usage rate is very high. It is obvious that stocks will be going down at a significant rate.
I’d have thought it was up to those supporting this war on Iran to demonstrate how there is no problem with stocks of bombs and missiles.
I’ll also be watching for signs that Trump is being told that this cannot go on for much longer. Possible sign one - there is a “ceasefire” as objectives have been met and negotiations with Iran are started. Possible sign two - Trump gives up on protecting Hormuz. Possible sign three - US troops are landing in Iran to protect Hormuz from the land. I do not need possible sign four (moving weapons from other parts of the world) as that is already happening.
Any of which will prove its a dumb & dangerous war, conducted badly and careless of the global impact.

Korea doesn’t want the US to pull out, or Japan because they are surrounded! Staying in his neck of the woods, others don’t want tariffs on their products brought in to United States! Critical Minerals & Rare Earths: Other nations, particularly in Europe and Asia, seek U.S.-sourced or processed materials like lithium, cobalt, graphite, and rare earth elements (e.g., neodymium, yttrium) for defense and high-tech industries. Oh come on, I thought we were a strategic aircraft carrier. The American “How we won the war” films are a bit over the top for my liking and they could have kept their imports to the UK , drugs, hip-hop, fast food, guns etc. Now we have a Prime Minister who hates the UK,and is encouraging Muslims who really do hate the uk, and the prospect of thicko “Angela Raynor” taking over, which will be a ruddy sight worse.
Add to that, London no longer belongs to the UK, nothing works, the rivers are polluted, the motorist is a money machine, the roads are full of potholes, the traffic is hell, parking is hell, a person can not talk to a person on the phone, rape is rife, knife crime is rife, the armed forces are near non existant, most of the population would not fight if we had a war, you cannot get a doctors appointment, you cannot get a decent dentist without paying. The prisons are overflowing, the law is an ass, the woke brigade are a joke. Plumbers earn more than Doctors. Towns are covered in graffii, shops are boarded up, the population walks around staring at mobile phones like zombies.
Oh, give me a day by on a clear quiet stream, where peace and quiet run supreme, like my beloved River Test, which is also wrecked by water extraction and sewerage and costs £1800 for a few days fishing…
