Your naivety is only matched by the same from Trump. It is simplistic thinking to believe military action in one part of Iran won’t bleed into military action in another. In fact, that would be a key goal of Iran so it more than likely to happen. In any conflict the one certainty is unforeseen events.
You also seem to be saying the required action is put a warship to sail along side a tanker or two through the straights. This is not the same as the WW2 Atlantic convoys trying to avoid submarines, although the toll on cargo and naval ships are likely to be as high. The tactics that Iran can readily deploy will make it necessary to do more than only have to defend against incoming drones (which will not be simple or always successful).
Like Trump you appear to have a naive, simple, rose-tinted view of conflict and this conflict in particular. This is messy, it is going to get a lot more messy and Trump is clearly struggling now. With or without other countries. I look forward to you soon admitting its all been a failure.

Nazi Don (and his supporters) offers the same threat to the world as Hitler did, and, with the exception of Hitl…er…Nazi Don, Nazi Corporate America, and their Nazi supporters, Americans aspires to be a country of liberty, opportunity, and justice for all, but even here in the US we have the lowest crud of humanity, and Nazi Don / Corporate America / White Christian Nationalist Nazis have encouraged them to come out of their grubby holes. There is a bigger threat from a US led Nazi Don and, ironically, the collaboration betwixt the Jewish Theocratic State of Israel and the Nazi White Christian Regime in Washington than any nation in the Middle East, offering the same dangers to world peace and stability as did Adolph Hitler led Germany, Italy, and Japan in WWII !!!

Not forgetting the 1000s of fancy action mines they are launching from 1000s of tiny boats. Which begs the question how China and friends get through. But as the USA is reducing all the relevant coastline and stocks to dust, I am a little confused about how, accepting that some are detonated from shore.
Then, if it really turns nasty and push comes to shove, the USA could flatten Iran in 24 hours or be kind and just deplete their income.
Well that is nonsense of course, the bonus for you being that you live in a very large country. Nope, I am interested in WW2, mainly the Royal Navy, as my Father served and died in it, and my stepfather served and survived four bombs hitting his ship. I was involved from a very young age, ziz zagging to avoid German U- Boats in the Atlantic and being with my father on his service in the Indian Ocean. Then returning home to all the bombs etc etc having moved home seven/ ten times by the time I was five,
So, all off topic, Trump is of zero interest, the daily news is totally boring and the TV progs are worse and the country is fxxxxx.

Per your post you have zero interests in anything, even your own country, and while not being a Trump bootlicker, I doubt any country / leadership is of your liking, so that makes us a plus, and do not worry, Nazi Don is only “passing through”, but you being an apparent “crabby ol’ fella”, you will find issue with most anything any future administration does, which is also a plus. The USA has many enemies, a lot even before ol’ Nazi Don, and while we “Yanks” do / have , @ times raised the ire of British brethern, I kind of enjoy the criticism coming from abroad, especially once I take into account who’s making them.

Petrol crisis is looking very bad, that is gas to you. Gone are the days when courting, 5 gallons here cost One Pound. Still give the yanks some praise, they have finally got the message that they cannot drive massive gas guzzlers and pay 3 cents a gallon for the gas.
Guess if you want real happiness in your life, you could drive to Montana and fly fish one of the chalk streams. Heaven on Earth, but I imagine such pleasure would go over your head.
Things are serious right now with the oil loss and transportation issues, even though the pipelines are now open and on full flow. Then I am not a serious writer, and have a non-existent education, so I will hand the thread back to the serious-minded and try to understand if they are enjoying the subject matter of just like miles of unreadable dialogue.
