Let’s get this right - 90% of Australia’s oil is imported. we had rationing in the 1970s but we got over it.
BUT we export 65% of our agricultural produce so we will not starve.
As for nuclear power Australia has never wanted it and will never get it, we have plenty of sunshine and wind for renewables, most of our electricity is still generated by coal, we have a lot of that. But we will export our coal, iron ore, uranium, lithium, copper and rare earths to those willing to buy it, so get in line.
