The USA and the settler colony of Israel has started a war with Iran

If that’s what you understood that is your choice. I’m just stating the law under the U.S. constitution. To get a answer to the questions I would suggest checking the constitution.

What the constitution does not do is define what amounts to a war. No need for the constitution to do that as it well understood (Webster: a state of usually open and declared armed hostile conflict between states or nations). It is difficult to argue that what the US & Israel are engaged in with Iran is not a war. The military actions, the use of weapons, the destruction are very clearly a war. So its a war. There is no other conclusion.
But Trump did not get Congressional approval so, as you have clarified, he acted against the US constitution. Which I understand to be quite an un-American thing to do. Especially one that has sworn an oath to the constitution. Are Americans happy and proud of that?

While Congress holds the formal authority to initiate war, the President has expanded authority to deploy troops and manage conflicts without a formal declaration.

That made me check the background here. So you are right that many presidents have taken the US into war without congressional approval. Indeed, the last time congress approved a war was back in WW2. It appears that the US president can and does engage in wars without congress having a say. So since WW2 that’s almost 100,000 military killed and 300,000 injured on a president’s whim. That’s pretty dismal.
Which confirms what I’ve thought for a while - America is a banana-republic: corrupt to the core, awash with money to influence decisions, with no real accountability for any senior politician, and with a leader happy to have its citizens killed on a whim. Best country in the world? Give me a break.

That is something that Trump is fixing that failed under the last administration. We do not answer or have to explain ourselves to the UN or any other international organizations. Examples of their failures was the Hostage situation in Palestine and the situation in Ukraine.

I try to avoid word game like the gender game, insurrection or riot word game. Or the powers of the government wording war or conflict but it specifically states war and conflict. Going to select definitions to satisfy oneself, fine.

While the world tried to negotiate with Iran about their Nuclear development and the advancement of their nuclear program while negotiating honest shows Irans view of the world’s powers to stop them with a bunch of chit chat. Again the US has to step in let Iran know, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Just like the tariffs, most every country had the better side of trade deals and Trump wanted to renegotiate the trade deals, no one wanted to come to the negotiation table. So he raised the tariffs and everyone came to the negotiation table.
Same with Iran. Iran will be more than happy to come to the negotiation table once they figure out what position they are in.

So … all this discussion about the rights and wrongs, morally or legally are all pretty irrelevant to an American mind then.

Ok, let’s check, what has the UN done about the invasion of Ukraine! The correct answer is nothing.
What actions did the UN accomplish in the conflict between Israel and Palestine and the few thing they tried to implement about aid accomplish?
The international court of justice about Palestine and Israel rulings - who informed any of the and what did they accomplish.
International atomic energy agency - what controls is Iran following from them?

But my statement was very clear to me. If the United States agree with something, we will go along with it, if we don’t we won’t. Like every country does by choice. Like the Paris Climate accord- we’re out because it wasn’t about facts it was mostly about woke. Like the International Health Organization - if we agree with it we will follow it if not we ignore it, like other countries. Like the Panama Canal - the US only wanted the Chinese out of control of the Panama Canal and the world some how thought the US was going to take the Panama Canel. It force China to lose control of the Canel. And the world imply Trump was going to use military force to take Greenland. All lies.
Bottom line, why should the US pay heed to countries that make up scare tactics and stories that are completely false.
The United States should only take actions that the United States see fit. Right and wrong are not universal and the same as morally and legally are not universal. I should have to explain that.

Because that’s what the war is costing you, according to this guy:

I’m not fond of any of the so called social media platforms as a news source myself … they’re often full of tripe posted by zealosts and fanatics.
There’s another forum I’m on where there’s a steady diet of it. but maniacally pro-Israeli.

Most of those videos look like click bait and I would not watch them. People will watch what they want to hear.

I just see it as another clickbait. It’s ok to watch vloggers as long as you don’t just use one platform. The algorithms just send you more and more reflections of your own thoughts . As you can alter faces and language it could be anyone in any part of the world.

Oh, you do surprise me. A friend sent me a recent Email saying that he had given up on forums for over 50 folk as he thought they were places where folk could go and have a laff, and found them taken over by a small minority who believe they know how to run the world.
Not much changes, and it is still the same old few.

The US under Trump fails to understand that no nation exists and thrives in isolation. Every nation, including the US, needs allies and trading partners. In fact, even with its military might, the US has a critical need for all countries and (nearly) all trade to do so in US dollars. Particularly so called petro-dollars. As soon as international trade starts moving away from the US dollar the lower the demand is for dollars. And when that happens, the massive US national debt starts to look critically unaffordable.
Trump is gambling on two things in this attack on Iran. First that removing the leadership will cause chaos and a weak response from Iran. Second, that bombardments, hitting Iran’s infrastructure as well as leadership & military capability will encourage regime change through revolution. Already it is clear both are not happening. Iran is going to put huge pressure on the oil market, and huge pressure on other gulf states. They are not going to let Trump continue this for long … even if the US has sufficient weapons (they and Israel are burning their way through very expensive missiles to try to shoot down cheap drones).
Trump, being a thick egotist, has not thought this through and has no plan after the first few strikes. This is likely to drag on in the form of more and more air strikes but little evidence of change. Afterwards, with some face saving agreement with Iran, the US will find itself even more isolated, less and less at the centre of international trade, weakened by huge overspend and distrusted by all. Hardly a win and not really a sign of making good choices.
So in a sense you are correct to say that the US can do what it wants - but poorly considered ego-driven actions aren’t even going to work out in US’ favour.

Can anyone else count the number of lies and accusations in the first video?

Did anyone besides my self check the facts of the amount of money the Department of Defense spends in one day? Of course not because they would rather go along with the Trump Derangement Syndrome instead of checking fact.
The Department of Defense spends $2.45 Billion a day. So the $890 million is just a drop in their budget. So instead of running exercises in the North Atlantic, Pacific Ocean or in the Indian Ocean they are using it for what they train for.

This guy is a Socialist Democrat, hiding behind being a Conservative Republican like the Democrats running for office as Republicans.

Talks about Social Security funding. Let’s see what’s wrong with that idea. Social Security was originally designed for a fund for people that pay into it as they work. But it doesn’t s failing because laws passed allowing kids in college that get PTSD get SS, children born with ill health get SS and numerous other things that got their finger in the pot that never put a dime into the fund. And people can’t figure out why it going broke when more people are taking out than people that put in. Example, I paid SS for 50 years and I know people that get more than I do, that did not pay in as much or as long as I did.

Than wants Universal Health Care. That in it self is joke. While I was working, choices I made in life, my highest cost of heath insurance was $84 a month (for two people). No copays, free prescriptions, 100% free unless I had to see a specialist and than it cost me $10. Now that I’m in a government provided health it costs $328 a month plus I have to pay copay, pay for prescriptions. Basically more than 4 times as much. And it’s mandatory to have Government Health Care because the take it out of my retirement before I even see it, like a tax. When the government controls or dictate government programs, they become the worst programs there can be.

Than he mixes teachers and teachers in the same pot. Nurses make 2 to 3 time more than I ever did.
Now teachers (the education system) needs to be over hauled, which Trump started once in n office.

The thing I do agree with him on is corrupt politicians. There are so many things that need to be fixed, there is no easy place to start.

Than makes false accusations, standard socialism democrats procedures, make up lies or can’t provide facts for the accusations.
