Maybe now is the time for reform.

Indeed, OGF and they should be removed.

The advantages of a codified constitution include clarity, certainty, and a clear framework for the exercise of power. A codified constitution can also provide citizens with greater protection of their rights and freedom.

I used to think the lack of a codified constitution was bad and needed to be addressed. But now, thinking about what it would take to construct one, the endless arguments about fine details, the complexity of finding wording that truly made clear sense without ambiguity, the issues of weaving a codified constitution in & around existing legislation… where is the benefit? And what risks would be create in trying to document such a thing? And would this no doubt lengthy task truly make things better? Plus, who would do the work? Who would exert days and weeks debating it? What more productive and beneficial things could be done with that time?

ECHR is codifying our constitution. Another Labour government passed Human Rights Act which has hindered the deportation of those who are a threat to UK.
