The Tacky Twosome

I don’t think it was the moving to America that annoyed people but the way they conducted themselves in the Oprah Winfrey interview.

We really don’t know to what extent that interview was based on fact. Considering how Harry and Meghan were treated by the UK MSM as well as The Firm I strongly suspect there’s a shed load that was 100% true.

susan, l don’t know why, it’s just a feeling. I sometimes sense things and l am probably totally wrong.

None of us know what happens behind closed doors and sometimes, it’s the innocent one that is wronged.

Maybe, l feel just for family purposes and for the Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations, they could have stood together, even smiled at each other.
Instead, Harry and Megan were placed away from the rest of his close blood family. Being brothers, l think William should have insisted on having his brother next to him. For the Queen’s sake and Diana’s sake
I am not condoning the fact that Prince Harry and Meghan blabbed all on the Oprah Winfrey show but for one weekend only they could have been more united.

Well Art, first of all I really don’t see how the brothers standing together it could have benefitted Daine?
And secondly, I don’t think it was anything to do with William, because I heard on one broadcast, (can’t remember if it was tv or radio now), that the Queen herself had arranged it that way.
I guess she had her reasons though.

I think there are still some issues between the two (or Harry and the entire family). His exit hasn’t entirely been graceful, and I get the feeling that he had Meghan at the “greener” side of the fence he stood on, pulling him down before he was ready.

The queen arranged nothing. The “palace” does such things.

That aint what it said on the news, Todger.
They said it was the Queen’s request.

I think the queen instructed it as well Mups, the palace doesn’t do these things off their own back. She was probably just thinking thats what Harry wanted…but I see the media clamouring to say that H&M are second class royals. Well in my opinion, they are lucky to even be there. They could have celebrated it privately, out of the public eye.

For me, Mups… family is king. All for one and one for all.
If there is a fallout within my family, be it with my siblings, or my children. I make sure it is sorted.
None of us know when we are going to die and l just feel it is paramount for a family to be close.

Yes, Pixie. . I am sure the Queen would have some say in it, and that is what I heard them say, that the Quuen had requested, or arranged, it that way. Her reasons are her own affair.

And you unquestionably believe ANYTHING the MSM says?

Yes, quite. I am not disputing that at all Art.
But we don’t know anything about her problems or why she did that, so don’t really think our ideas within our own families are relevant.

Really? That was a harsh thing for you to say…

So who do you think asked for that arrangement then, Todger?

I must say though, personally I couldn’t care less about who stands near who. It doesn’t affect my life in the slightest, and certainly isn’t worth getting excited about, nor falling out about. :slightly_smiling_face:

I honestly haven’t a clue what you’re on about here.
What was ‘harsh’? All I said was ;

" But we don’t know anything about her problems or why she did that, so don’t really think our ideas within our own families are relevant."

What on earth is harsh in that? All it means is all families abide by different rules and what the Quen decides is surely up to her.

Anyway, I’ve got to go now, as I have an appointment. :vulcan_salute:

Firstly thankyou Art for your reply . I feel William is moulded now into the future king and probably doesn’t want to rock the boat and wants a quiet easy life . As I’ve said before I believe Harry wanted out of the stuffy royals for a long time unable to forgive or forget how his mum was treated. Then having to accept Camilla into his fathers life and remembering his bad memories etc. Along comes our Meghan rebellious and strong when he was probably very needy , she was the perfect partner in crime . No doubt H struggles with deep thinking and depression and there was at times sad expressions on his face this weekend . I’m not a royalist any way and have no time for them really, but I have respect for the queen who has served her country (and of course her family and hangers on)

I don’t blame H for getting out , but I think he wasn’t expecting the boot !

Of course the Oprah show was foolish but I think he was very angry and foolishly allowed it .

A fall out in the family is one thing blabbing all to the world on the Oprah show is another r . I really don’t see how any reconciliation is possible . I does seem like everyone is wrong but them they have no peace with their families on both sides.

Who told you life is fair ?

The Firm’s propaganda machine and/or Billy TicTac.

Its the book as well though (or books, as they may yet become) They can’t seem able to grasp the concept of “privacy”
