Are you watching this latest series of ‘The Split’? I have enjoyed the past series but l am finding this current series a bit sickly.
Nicola Walker as Hannah Stern, is a great actress but her acting in this series, especially when she’s with Christie (her lover) is a bit annoying.
It’s how she starts to speak, then hesitates, makes odd facial expressions and then speaks.
She looks at Christie in a doe-eyed like way, then looks demure and does straight face and then smiling again. Most odd!!
When she was crying about her husband’s relationship with his now pregnant girlfriend. I wanted to scream…’What do you expect, you cheated on your husband Nathan and now you don’t like it because he’s found someone else’!
Apologies for being harsh. I should realise it’s only fiction and not real life!

This afternoon I cheated and watched episode 5, couldn’t wait til Monday!
I know what you mean about her speech mannerism, but that’s how she speaks, always has done in every part she’s played, you either love it or hate it
I felt that the finale was unsatisfactory.
I couldn’t believe that Nathan would be happy with his controlling new partner, and in the end Hannah seemed to lose everything.
But great acting, good story lines, and some truly awful characters (Nathan’s lawyer!)
And that damned apostrophe is STILL there in the title grrrrrr!
What apostrophe? Is this something that l had done? I am usually very careful about punctuation.
Where was it exactly? It might have been something that was done automatically by my iPad?
I am usually mortified if l make any punctuation error as l would hate to look thick!!!
I usually check everything l write on here, to see if my posts are worded correctly, spelling, punctuation etc are correct…hence why my posts are nearly always edited!
Where exactly was the punctuation error? Was it on ‘Mondays’. If it was, then honestly that was computer generated!
I have passed exams in English at school and college and l have attended creative writing courses so l am very pernickety regarding correctness.

I hadn’t even realised it was “your” thread!
But it astounds me that on a forum which appears occasionally (see what I did there to appease the gods!) to be run by the Stasi, there isn’t strict protocol with the appearance of the thread titles.
Of course it’s just typos, but nevertheless it looks shoddy if there’s a glaring error.
We can’t be the only posters who carefully edit posts for errors surely?
