The sea monster fossil

Saw it on Breakfast TV yesterday, It fascinated me. I understand David Attenborough is doing a special TV programme about it on New Years Day. Will be definitely recording that. :+1:
I wonder if they will manage to get the rest of the creatures body out too.

I am definitely going to watch it , I love David Attenborough .
His wonderful story telling voice and the amazing graphics that recreate these long past animals .

He was probably there when the fossil was buried.

A great man
I am proud to have shared the earth at the same time as David Attenborough .

I love David & yes, of course I’ll watch the program, it’s an amazing find & I watch all David’s programs anyway. Right from his young days.

We’re just back from Skye, and we had a grand time on “An Corran Beach” where all the dino foot prints are and visiting the wee Dino fossil Museum.
This is our feet beside one of the footprints.

My family has a much needed ‘bolt-hole’ (retreat home) high up the Purbeck Hills not far from this worked out quarry. Some say the area is interesting, but this is a massive understatement.

Looks grand.
I’ve been reading about dinosaurs since I was a child. Dorset is a bit far though as we are right up the other end near Groats.

Yes, that is a long journey. My full-time home is not far being around 65-70 miles away from the Purbeck Hills to the east on the coast, so it’s easy to go over for just a day if the bolt hole is fully occupied bed wise.
