Do hand nurtured ones taste nicer ? ā¦ the big outlets are so impersonal and often with poor quality control.
In my limited experience of growing 2- 3 cucumbers, home grown ones taste amazing vs the commercially grown variety. Iām not sure what they do to our veggies, but there must be a team that works hard to remove all residual flavour from any produce.

Yes home grown taste quite different. Of course they are not wrapped in cling film and they are organic.
My first year of growing them and they have been amazing and abundant.
