Pah! half a million pounds compensation? I wouldn’t even get out of bed for anything less that £35Million.

Don’t you hate these tight fisted scammers?

You have to be so careful these days. My default when taking a call from an unknown number is to be suspicious! I have a friend who has a great way of dealing with scam callers. She interrupts them, says she is a police officer, they have called a crime scene, the call has been traced and they should remain where they are until an officer arrives to take a statement! They always hang up!
