Think the Archie bit is that since he isn’t a prince, he’s not entitled to publically funded protection.
I really liked her in Suits. It wasn’t the same after she and Patrick Adams left, he didn’t really fit in either without her there.
I don’t doubt that someone would. It was also being asked all over twitter and other social media.
He could say, he was looking for his cat!
Well Harry has Phil’s ears just smaller than Charles’s. It’s all there if you know where to look.
Harry is like a cross between Charles and Diana’s sister Sarah
Thanks DeX
“Officer I am just looking for a little pussy” would be a good headline too!
l am not going there!
Then they could interview the people who have watched it.
Why only half measures?
I guess if you are a royal and have a high profile then your children could be at risk particularly when there was so much curiosity about Meghan because of the news stories. So I do understand why they would need security particularly if they had to leave him when they were working/ doing royal tours etc. Lots of crazy people out there would kidnap a royal child or just want to see/touch it (like Fagan broke into the palace etc) I’m sure that Diana had security for the boys didn’t she? Some people are obsessed with high profile royals.
This is true. At this rate we will be reading/hearing about this for the next ten years (at least!).
I didn’t watch it. However, I thought the central issue (for some time) has been the UK media?
I’m pretty sure we established we weren’t fans of royalty starting, more or less, around 1776.
Just giving you a little good-natured grief, Twink. I hope you have recovered from your fall!
Agreed, for many, many reasons. Mostly 'cause I selfishly don’t want to hear about it anymore.
While I confess that I neither saw the full interview nor the transcript, two simple facts will go unchallenged as the result of this drama: the prerequisites for being either an actress or a royal require neither a very high IQ nor a very good sense of judgement. The other is that you get to wear nice clothes .
No wonder both professions require handlers. They should have listened to them.
I wonder what the camera crew and sound technician made of it all. We ought to be told.
Did see a curious online headline which suggested that the colour of Meghan’s fingernails was possibly a secret message to the queen. I kid you not:shock:
I watched it after taping the programme, so I could whizz through the adverts. It was like watching Meg giving a speech at the Oscars. All emotions were on show, my dear husband, the nasty “Firm”, my suicidal thoughts, blatant racism, no one asking, “Are you ok?”. God! it was toe curling stuff! Then they brought on the supporting act. He came out with guff about how they were’nt supported, even by his old man Charlie. Just one whinge after another. Not a peep from Oprah, about Meg’s dysfunctional family, particularly her father. We are well rid of the pair of them!
Has to be said John, don’t give up your day job whilst chasing a new career in promoting TV shows. You’re not selling it too well:lol:
No he wasn’t at all .
As do all ex PMs
Me too Art they could market it as for insomnia
However on the whole life in California sounds a lot better than life with the RF . I tend to believe them they have made their bed now and must life on it .
And it’s not so bad mansion ,beach and sun no ghastly family ( on both sides )
Perhaps now they’ve aired their grievances in full, they’ll stfu. Even better would be if the press stopped writing about them, for everyone’s sakes.
Fact Check (1):
Harry and Meghan were actually secretly wed three days before the Windsor ceremony by the Archbishop of Canterbury
Meghan said: 'You know, three days before our wedding, we got married. No one knows that… We called the Archbishop and we just said, ‘Look, this thing, this spectacle is for the world but we want our union between us.’
Fact check: Unlikely
Church of England marriages require at least two witnesses and the public must also have unrestricted access to the building during any marriage ceremony to allow for valid objections against the marriage.
At the time the couple were living in the grounds of Kensington Palace, and their residence is off limits to the public.
A couple who are already lawfully married cannot choose to re-marry each other, unless there is some doubt as to the validity of the earlier marriage.
Reverend David Green, Vicar of St Mary’s, West Malling and the Rector of St Michael’s, Offham, said it was impossible to have had two weddings, adding: ‘I think the Archbishop needs to clarify what did or did not happen three days before.’
This means that one of the two ceremonies was more likely just an exchange of vows rather than a legally recognised wedding.
