It would seem to me that the world is facing what Mao introduced to China many years ago. A new order that we still see played out in China today. But this is a new social movement by poverty stricken countries ranging from the middle east to Africa to those poverty areas of our own European neighbours. People are on the move and have an insatiable appetite or hunger may be a better word to head for the promised lands be they rich European countries including UK and even USA - they seem to be avoiding most areas of the far east and heading west only. So now we see those waves of “illegal immigrants” crossing dangerous channels ; shivering in the winter colds of Europe ; flooding places like parts of Greece and chaos major social changes - and with all one sight in view - the eldorado that is the West. They want what we have. Will it stop or more accurately when will it stop ? - who knows - sometimes things are just unpredictable. It’s a march of time?

We did it to them for a long, long time
They are now starting to pay us back and they have both the capacity and determination to do so.
We need to stop thinking we are a global power, we are not.
Our two, very expensive, Aircraft Carriers, can be wiped out in hours.
They have no Nuclear Capacity at all.
China has a very sophisticated Anti Ballistic Missile System, we have nothing.
China is huge, with a very well dispersed Command and Control System.
We are a tiny Island, they only have to land 3 to destroy us.
We would not survive the destruction of London, Millions of Dead, No more NHS, the banks would stop working, you would have no money to buy anything, the Supermarkets would soon run out of food.
We could wipe out Beijing and Shanghai, if America let us, but China would survive.
This would be a one shot option.
We have nothing in reserve, the Chinese however could turn the whole of the UK into an uninhabitable radiation desert.
I lived for 3 yrs in China and still have chinese friends - this is just sabre rattling in the SE asian arena - they are extremely wedded to ASEAN but have not been granted full membership - I wonder why but they do want to keep blasting their belt road initiative right through the region - the rest of se asian nations are wary of China and welcome the USA, UK and Oz joining forces to give a counterbalance - remember Indonesia is a huge nation with it’s own weaponry and is opposed to China throwing it’s weight around - Taiwan and S. Korea and the Philippines all welcome allied forces being around - China sometimes attempts to bully the west and it’s neighbours but that is all it is and needs to be defended
well dear old china is not leaping anywhere atm - it is now managing new outbreaks of covid in large numbers ; having economic collapses in the building industry because of greedy chinese entrepeneurs who wanna get rich quick capitalistic style off the back of their own chinese popn and now have Russia bothering them to provide arms and fighters perhaps in the war against little old Ukraine? China is not if anything silly most of the time. It can read the typing between the lines and how the west is crippling Russia economically so I think it will be wary of aiding and abetting with too much relish if any at all? The new leap forward has crashed into a stumble?
