I’d have thought it was the opposite, the more kids you have the longer you are likely to live : /

I didn’t understand much of that. They’re looking at genes, not behavior?

The article raises more questions than it answers. It lacks differentiation on many accounts. The effects of reproduction certainly differ between the sexes. Who were the volunteers - men or women? Who is “you” in the article? It can go into the circular file.
I only hope this does not relate to grandkids. I have n n n nineteen so I don’t stand a chance.

I have to agree with that as i my husbands first wife had 12 and she died in her early 40`s,and i know women who have never had children live to be in their 90s. plus.
People live longer and have fewer children. I think they are somewhat different aspects.
Mum had 6, lived to 97. Two sets of twins, two daughters.
