It’s good to see the natural world coming back when it’s allowed to.Dis-used embankments are a handy way of walking around the countryside.Is the UK the only place with railway embankments,I wonder.

Aren’t they just a necessity because of the need for very shallow gradients on railways? You’d think any country with a railway system would have them.
Look at all the rail trails in Victoria converted to cycleways and walking tracks.
