The latest spam message I received

Respected Client,

There is a message which we received yesterday and I was really upset and I decided to hear from you before I can take any action on that. We received a message with the below information stating that you gave him the Power of Attorney to claim your funds that you are dead or no longer eager to complete the transaction.

Daniel M. Fraser
CUNY Graduate Center
309 Fifth Avenue
New York, NY 17066

Are you aware of this person? Or did you authorize him to make the claim on your behalf? Because he said that he will pay-off the $105 so that we can transfer the money to him. So Please; with due respect and more sincerity of purpose, I want to hear from you within the next 24 hours, and If I did not get any confirmation from you; then I will assume that Daniel M. Fraser is right and we will transfer the funds to him. I will wait for your urgent response. Thanks and God bless you.

Sincerely
Dr James P Gorman

I have crossed paths with so called friends of around 6/7 years and this email was one of many received from these demons…It started soon after I was quite unwell and they just choose to stay away mostly…it escalated to 100% abuse over one year.

We never answered them and gave them no ammunition to proceed more and more…But it seemed they would at any opportunity.

We both helped each other with repairs and such like and supported them through his on going illness…
We helped them more with their Daughter who really looked upon them as a cash machine…never said that of course but they bought her basically so they could enjoy their grand daughter growing up…and why not they did and do adore her…

I have been scarred by this and now no longer trust humans as such…

I cannot show you the real horrors, I just cannot.
their 1st email we received…

Please be aware we have received correspondance in your names to our home address in the UK.As you are not a resident at our address or in the UK we have returned them to sender confirming you are not at this address. Please note any further letters or correspondance will be reurned to sender. We would appreciate if you would permanently remove our address from any of your correspondace so this does not causes us any further issues. jo and graham

that is a mild one…It was in my response to them…

that I was fed up with sending tx’s about things you had asked about and then you don’t answer me back…
.
not exactly Spam like you received… but you can see how emails can cause real concerns.

It fascinates me that these spam senders can not be tracked down and prosecuted.
There is a real flaw in that allows such wholesale fraud to proliferate.

I think basically you press the Delete button and move on…Nothing is done to stop them sadly… maybe it is far to difficult to anyways…

I always put any strange emails into the Spam folder, then any that follow I don’t see. I never answer any either.

Rather than rely on my mailbox detecting ‘spam’ I have my settings adjusted to receive mail only from known safe senders and the rest never reaches my inbox. This action does require a certain amount of input from me to ensure my green list is up to date, but it is definitely worth the extra effort :+1:

Block them.

All suspicious emails go straight to the spam box. Every now and then I read some of them and will post the most ridiculous one for the amusement of members here.
