These are NOT Protesters but nasty vicious vandals. People have 4x4s for all sorts of reasons, mostly where they live. I drive one and my partner being a farmer uses a Land Rover. Also living on the North Coast of Scotland they are not a luxury car but a necessary one, very few small cars could cope with the heavy snow ect we get up here, Winters are a lot harder here. If I caught anyone at my car they’d be very very sorry.

You need not explain your choice of vehicles to anyone; you live in a free nation of self-determination. You and your partner worked hard to be able to afford the vehicle that you enjoy and suits your needs.
I’m with Chili; people who are respectfully (are these vandals part of organized crime?) employed with long-term goals, have no time for such nonsense and their free time is spent positively.
