We used to live near a place called Watery Bottom which always amused me when I was young. And still does.

I used to like the street, in Hull, called “Land Of Green Ginger”.

Especially as the area, at that time, was not exactly that!

It’s not a street as such but what about Dumb Widow’s Lane, a bit of local history there perhaps?

Happy days when I used to cycle around Sussex, that one has stuck in my mind, on the way to Winchelsea as I remember and then on to Rye.

I don’t know about the best but amongst the worst must be places like out on the Fens where Sluice Road sounds just awful.

There is a a small road/lane in Teignmouth called “The Street with No Name”.

I wonder how many taxi drivers get caught out with that name!

Of course there was Shiteburn Lane in the City of London. Long since renamed but there may be some forum members mature enough to remember it :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

One we used to see our trips to Yorkshire was ‘Butt Hole Road’. I believe the residents petitioned the council and now the name has been changed.

Now you’re showing off Omah :+1::rofl:

There’s an area in a local village called ‘Prick End’. So leaving ‘Prick End’ you can then go up ‘The Queen’s Passage’. A happy conclusion!
