Temperatures in Siberia 17:degrees above normal!

The Altai Republic in Siberia reports temperatures of’17 degrees above
normal this year!!
Looks like it’s too late to save the tundra ? :-1::worried::-1:

It could also release all sorts of diseases & nasties trapped in permafrost

I watched Frozen Planet last weekend, it’s terrifying what’s happening.

I was recently in the Rockies in Canada, temps were still in the high teens, the snows and cold are very late.

I reckon those of us living around the coast of anywhere might all have to start thinking about re-locating inland. Although ironically, depending on how far we move, we may still be living on the coast.

Its meant to be terrifying Ripple, David only visits the bad places…
We had record high temperatures here this summer and all the reservoirs are nearly dry…But it hasn’t stopped raining for three days now…It all evens out eventually.

@AnnieS , You don’t mention methane Annie ?
Nine times worse than the carbon we hear so much about !
:worried::worried:

@Davenorave , The Thames Barrage will need extending too Dave !!
Canary wharf will be under water otherwise! :grin::grin:

You are Greta Thunberg or David Attenborough and I claim my £5 :grinning:

What’s going on this year? Here, between Bordeaux and Toulouse, (so fairly south) it has been very warm. 28 degrees today. It is the last days of October. I’m usually expecting the first frosts to arrive soon. And no rain, little rain since May. Explain all this you climate change sceptics.
