Thanks @User_One , I didn’t know Simon had broken his leg.
Since things are filmed weeks before being broadcast, filming a few extra scenes to cover a slightly less presence probably isnt uncommon. Actors take holidays like the rest of us without it being noticeable on screen.
Long term leave of absence is a different thing though, as you suggest.

I haven’t watched Coronation Street since I lived at home but still remember the names.There was Mr.Papagopolous of Gamma Garments.He never appeared but poor old Arthur Lowe had to say his name a lot.
To be honest I’m not a fan of EastEnders in the least!
But…this Simpsons clip has me in stitches every time.
I wonder if this is what some of our friends from over the pond really think of us?
