Loving them yes! No shake either which is good. Are they both handheld devices? And do they have image stabilisation on them?
The sony one on small tripod does have image stablisation but turned off. The panasonic hand held no stablisation
try doing this with any other camera you will be struggling
to control a slow steady zoom is best done with a remote as in the top video as in this below
the best way I found to do this is to get the zoom as close in as possible to centralise the subject then pull out and start recording. That way you know your on the subject
Just a quick word going with 4K camcorder and monitor makes such a difference to the 1080p format
