Without looking it up, would you be able to reel off in order, 23 of the Royal Family in their place of succession.
If not 23, how many could you reel off in their correct order, or aren’t you really interested where they come on the list?
For fun, you could even suggest/make up, an imaginary list!
I recognised every bit of river and canal on the programme, some of which where less than 5 minutes from where I lived for 11 years, and now less than 25 minutes away.
Harrison Ford spent his honeymoon on that canal.
Yes, I fished both the canal and river and never killed anything I caught, other than trout, and then only what I ate.
Yes I didn’t think I’d like the programme being anti any blood sport but gave it a try …really enjoyed it .
Fish are susceptible to stress but they were really gentle when handling fish.
yep Whitehouse and Mortimer first in line …succession to the British throne
I couldn’t get very far because I don’t care really, but off the top of my head and without looking up, is it George, Charlotte, Louis, Harry, Archie, Lilibet?
I can’t remember all the names of Elizabeth II’s grandchildren & great grandchildren or the order in which they were all born but my guesstimate at the succession would be
William, George, Charlotte, Louis
Harry, Archie, Lilibet
Andrew, his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, though can’t remember which is the eldest. I think they have one child each, so they’d each come after their Mother.
Edward, then his two kids - I think they’re still both teenagers.
Anne, then her son Peter, then his kids (2?) then her daughter Zara, then her kids (3?)
I think that makes 23?
Though I’m not sure what year the law overturning primogeniture is effective from, so I’m not sure which of the Queen’s female grandchildren and great grandchildren this will affect.
It’s not worth memorising all their names because, as they all get older and start having kids, most of them will shuffle even further down the list.
I expect if the monarchy continues beyond Charles III, we’ll see William and then George as King, and the whole list of succession will have changed again by the end of a George VII’s reign.
