I agree, I also think there is too much ‘preamble’ every week , do we really need to see participants going to clubs or pumpkin fields ‘to get the atmosphere’ for that weeks dance.
There is also too much ‘pantomime’ nonsense particularly at the start of dances. I find it spoils my concentration of the actual dancing which is what I watch the programme to see.
Julie I am glad you said this as I thought it was only me who was finding it boring. I too fast forward through everything but the dancing.
This week I made a comment to hubby about the music, it didn’t seem to go with the dances and it was very off putting. What was Brendan doing, I thought he was showing off, must have known he was going out this week.
Am watching strictly now ( i have always missed it before ) and its great all the dancers are so good!
Louise Rednapp was brilliant in the Argentine Tango, Judge Rinder was a veritable Fred Astaire and even Ed Balls was very good and funny as Oliver Hardy.
Wish i could dance
Daisy looked so elegant. Still my favourite since day one. Very difficult to pick a winner though. Danny, Ore, Louise, Daisy. It’s there for the taking. Even Balls Ed has improved but how has he made it this far?
I could slap Craig R.H. for keep being so rude about poor Judge Rinder’s face.
He is there to judge dancing ability, not be personal about a person’s features.
I just felt so sorry for J.R. tonight Pesta, you could see he loved that dance, and he was all emotional about his family being there, then that other great clod was horrid to him again.
Hasn’t Daisy got a lovely smile, her whole face lights up - bit like mine when I see Pummy.
