Strictly Returns!

I agree, I also think there is too much ‘preamble’ every week , do we really need to see participants going to clubs or pumpkin fields ‘to get the atmosphere’ for that weeks dance.

There is also too much ‘pantomime’ nonsense particularly at the start of dances. I find it spoils my concentration of the actual dancing which is what I watch the programme to see.

Yes Meg, I think that too. I think that bit is a wee bit too overdone now.
I still love the show though.

Julie I am glad you said this as I thought it was only me who was finding it boring. I too fast forward through everything but the dancing.

This week I made a comment to hubby about the music, it didn’t seem to go with the dances and it was very off putting. What was Brendan doing, I thought he was showing off, must have known he was going out this week.

Tbh I don’t think Brendan really cares much these days. He earns much more on his tours than he does on Strictly.

Am watching strictly now ( i have always missed it before ) and its great all the dancers are so good!
Louise Rednapp was brilliant in the Argentine Tango, Judge Rinder was a veritable Fred Astaire and even Ed Balls was very good and funny as Oliver Hardy.
Wish i could dance :frowning:

I also enjoyed Daisys’ dance.
So graceful.

It was beautiful.

Think it’ll be bye-bye Laura this week.
I thought Daisy’s dance was lovely.Louise and Kevin were wonderful.

Daisy looked so elegant. Still my favourite since day one. Very difficult to pick a winner though. Danny, Ore, Louise, Daisy. It’s there for the taking. Even Balls Ed has improved but how has he made it this far?

yep, Daisy for me too EZ.

Don’t forget to vote then LD. She has to stay in. It’s years since I cried myself to sleep!

:lol::lol:

Good fun with our Ed this evening don’t you think? … made me laugh rather loudly

I reckon Greg or Daisy will be out tomorrow.

Louise seems such a lovely lass and a brilliant dancer as is Danny, Ore, Judge and little Claudia. I’d hate to choose between one of those to win.

I could slap Craig R.H. for keep being so rude about poor Judge Rinder’s face.
He is there to judge dancing ability, not be personal about a person’s features.

Another brilliant night of dance.

I like Craig RH, I reckon his bark’s worse than his bite … he loves Judge really

I thought Danny’s Argentine was fantastic  the intricacy and speed of the steps was amazing :surprised:

I agree Pesta  it’s all a ‘performance’ from Craig

Yes Danny was brilliant (again). I’ve not heard of him before, but he’s some looker isn’t he? Bit like Pierce Brosnan.

I just felt so sorry for J.R. tonight Pesta, you could see he loved that dance, and he was all emotional about his family being there, then that other great clod was horrid to him again.

Hasn’t Daisy got a lovely smile, her whole face lights up - bit like mine when I see Pummy.

You are a slut Mups, I would never have believed it of you

Danny was a bit emotional too tonight. Did he say something about his dad?
