What is it about Sophie that just comes across as wrong? She does all the right moves (as far as my non-professional dancing eye can see) but it just looks ‘wrong’ somehow - is it because she’s just ‘too cool for school’ 
Yes those are my favourites as well - Sophie is too “formal” and needs to loosen up more.
Didn’t agree with Craig about Patrick being the best male dancer - I think that will make him more big headed - I find him a bit pompous.
Hope the girl off Corrie is ok - she is really very good too.

Sophie reminds me of a doll or puppet, all legs and no facial expression .
I thought that was a bit odd because, like you, I didn’t think he was the best. He’s had a couple of good dances but I don’t think he’s way out in front to warrant that kind of praise! I think week on week, Ashley has been the better dancer.
I have difficulty liking her because I don’t like her mother and she looks so much like her mum! Sophie can certainly dance and, being a singer, she can follow the beat but she just seems, I don’t know, spaced out is the best way I can describe how she appears; like she can’t really be bothered. As you say though Alan, that all important sparkle just isn’t there.

I also noticed that there have been comments the last couple of weeks aimed at the professionals not coming up with routines that are good enough! Mind you, the judges were right but it was nice to see the criticism go in the direction of the professional instead of blaming a lacklustre performance on the novice!
