Strictly 2014

I wonder if they have changed stance on guest performers - usually we have to have dancers parading in front of the guest while the audience disrespectfully applaud the dancers throughout a song - hope it has changed, Annie Lennox was certainly not interrupted.

Hope Matilda, Claudia’s daughter get well very soon, sounds like a terrible accident. Thoughts are with them.

I don’t like the dancers coming on when someone is singing it puts me off I don’t know whether to listen to the song or watch the beautiful dancers.

Me too :frowning:

I wouldn’t have minded being put off Annie Lennox, I didn’t enjoy her at all.

I don’t think it was the right song for her, usually she is fantastic but that song wasn’t right.

I agree with you Shirley. I think its also a bit disrespectful to the singer to invite another act on at the same time.

Yes that is a really distressing thing to have happened, it must be difficult for Claudia and her husband. She is not going to be there this Saturday either.
I wonder if they might bring back Bruce …Don’t think they will !!

Simon was superb last night
Craig was so rude to Frankie - he is so out of order at times !

Yes Simon was good, thought they were all good TBH even Judy is making improvements, loved the bit when Anton said next week their entire routine would be flying

Thought Craig was grouchy to the Samba dancers, I thought they did a very good routine

I can’t believe Judy has got through AGAIN!!! if she had a fair bone in her body she would have dropped out like others have.
Think the show will have to sort something out when ppl with two left feet and not an ounce of rhythm get to go to the finals in Blackpool when good dancers have been voted off by the public…seems it is who you know not how well you dance…

I agree Gabi … but I think the public are voting for Anton not her … and somebody should tell her they don’t have Punch and Judy in Blackpool

:mrgreen::mrgreen:::mrgreen:

I’m not going to watch it anymore even though I love it…can’t stand things so unfair…how many dancers with potential have been voted off to keep a stiff two left footed person on.

But she has improved week on week and for me that means more than the ones who clearly were good dancers before they started. I would have like both Judy and Alison to have got through they both improve and neither have cried when criticised unlike some who with one small critical word seem to turn on the water works.

Agree, Anton is very popular - she ‘did’ improve one week with the Charleston and now, has gone back to the ironing board look - shame, but there it is, she should go next week after the Blackpool treat for Anton is over - unless she is amazing of course …:-p

I feel sorry for Judy, she knows she is not that good Anton knows she is not that good but whilst the public are still voting for them there is nothing that can be done.

It usually happens to some extent every year. I heard Tessa say to Caroline something about the underdog, I didn’t quite catch it so don’t know what she was referring to.

Unless Judy is in the dance off next week that means a really good one will be going home. Lets hope the public finally realise to stop voting for Judy.

Thought it was Len making that comment about the public liking an underdog, and that Caroline shouldn’t be there. (having to do a dance off)

Yes I thought that comment unnecessary no one should be immune from the dance off if they are chosen to do it, and yes public may like an underdog and as they pay for the votes and the programme they get to chose who is in the dance off. Judy is fully aware she isn’t as good and has taken all comments very nicely even when they have been quite rude to her. Unlike some there.

It’s quite farcical that Judy’s still there.Perhaps the public won’t vote for next week because Andy lost his tennis match yesterday-who knows!Funny lot those voters.
