Where I last worked we used to class some jobs as red shirt jobs, in reference to the guys who beamed down to a planet, and it was a one way tripā¦
If youāve not seen āGalaxy Questā yet, Iād recommend it as a parody of Star Trek, and as a comedy film in its own right.
Joe Leydon of Variety said that Galaxy Quest āremains light and bright as it races along, and never turns nasty or mean-spirited as it satirizes the cliches and cults of Star Trekā.

While some may prefer Captain Kirk, I much prefer Captain Jon-Luc Picard.
William Shatner, as Kirk, was shallow and endlessly over-acting.
Patrick Stewart, as Picard, displays a wider range of personality and is a much better actor.
