Spring getting earlier?

The one I’ve bought also has a camera on it but because its under a certain weight (250 g I think) I don’t need to register it.
I don’t have a smartphone and the control has a screen built in, but I can download it to my laptop, it also has a micro SD card that records all the footage. It didn’t cost as much as some of the more professional ones, but it will be good enough to learn on, then we will see if I get hooked…

Toys and small drones and model aircraft

You do not need to register if you will only fly or use the following types of drone or model aircraft:

** toys below 250g or in C0 class*
** those in C0 class with no camera, whether they are a toy or not*
** those below 250g with no camera and no class mark, whether they’re a toy or not*

I don’t think I’ve known a woman with her own drone before.

Our pair of Magpies have already reinforced last years nest and he’s been boffing her at every opportunity …spring must be on the way judging by the bulbs and shoots over on the green to my frontage :ok_hand::+1:

I thought I saw a hen blackbird collecting for her nest, she’s building as I type in a shrub just outside the window, its fairly sheltered so hopefully any eggs will make it.

She’s building in here.

Frogs have taken up residence again in my pond. No spawn as yet :slightly_smiling_face:

Mr Blackbird has been chasing Mrs Blackbird around our garden all day - looking out of my office window and he’s still at it!

Haven’t seen our magpies for weeks now.

We have a playing field here ,that has a huge amount of crocus and snowdrops in full bloom, I’ll take a pic, when it stops raining.

I didnt think spring started until April in olden days and I dont think we have had a proper winter , its rarely dropped to freezing here in Dorset unless my memory is wrong . March can be a bitter cold month so I expect mother nature will have some fun with us . Saying that I have buds coming up. I planted Bee Bombs in September and I have lots of green leaves appearing and I’m not sure if its weeds or flowers beginning

I have a few crocus out, daffodils in bud and dwarf iris in bud.

It doesn’t feel like Spring is in the air today though.:slightly_frowning_face:

Lucky you. None of our crocuses or daffs have poked their heads above the soil yet. We do have a few snowdrops out though.

Now have spawn in the pond (not mine frogs :joy:)
