All my kids are assembling at my house for this weekend. One of them showed me how to connect Spotify from my phone to my smart TV and hence my hifi.
I have Spotify courtesy of my daughter’s family account and listen to it a lot but have always listened to it on my phone either via headphones or earbuds.
This is so much better (and louder) it seems all the two devices need to do is be on the same LAN/Wifi. It is brilliant. I had to listen to a couple of their songs (Blink 182??) but it was a small price to pay. It is all controlled from my phone with all my playlists etc.
If you have kids or Grandkids get them on to it and in no time you will have Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin, Jethro Tull, Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart at your finger tips and shaking the house.
