Speaker Hoyle loses it

The SNP have a monopoly on Scotland, they ran Labour out of town. The Scottish National Party.

You mean there aren’t any other political parties standing in Scotland?
Well, I suppose it isn’t a democracy then.

Which is at least one reason Sturgeon is referred to as The Fish Woman. There are no doubt other reasons.

It was quite good television for a change :slight_smile:

Maybe they like the smell of fish?

The sturgeon is a fish.

It was repeated on BBC2’s Politics UK programme at 12:15 today. A great belly laugh.

steaming up cos he kept taking em off!! :grin::grin:
Donkeyman! :+1::grin::+1:

Indeed. A very ugly one too. Indeed she is well named for that reason if no other.

From what I’ve seen I rather like this Mr Speaker.

Me too, he’s funny and he likes cats….

I’ve liked Lindsay Hoyle from the start - I thought he was a great choice for Speaker - a straight forward down to Earth chap - a breath of fresh air.
