The spam filter on my Inbox seems to be very good and only a few sneak through it

But once in a blue moon I quite like to glance in my junk folder, some of them are hilarious

You wouldn’t believe how many prizes I haven’t claimed and how many packages they’ve failed to deliver……

I had no idea so many of my mates were mutual friends with Nigerian princes trying to offload millions of dollars into my bank account every other month.

Maybe I need a word with them.

Think we must have the same mates…

@Bretrick If you are referring to spam in your e-mail. then what about operating a green list so that you only receive mail from known and trusted senders.

Exactly the same as me. Have a look occasionally.
I seem to be lucky going by the money that keeps getting thrown at me.
If only some of that luck would seep over into the real world. :grinning:

I never see them unless I specifically look.

I do not receive any junk mail, scam mail or Spam, to my personal email address, thank goodness.

I have a separate “junk” email address which I use for random online registrations and purchases. It is not linked to anything personal, so I can just close it if it ever becomes compromised or gets to be a nuisance and start up a new junk email account.
That junk mail account is full of junk Mail, mostly ads from companies I have dealt with and 3rd party Spam from their associates. I only log on to that email account to retrieve an email relating to something I have just ordered or registered for. I just ignore the rest of the unread junk mail, which eventually gets dumped into oblivion.

It works well for me.

I get very little junk mail because I don’t buy anything online, and when they ask for my email address to send a receipt to in the real world, I tell them that I’m not computer literate…

Sometimes a genuine email gets identified as Spam in error and put into your junk folder, so it’s worth checking
I’ve had that a couple of times with tickets I’ve bought online and websites I’ve signed up to
