God that takes me back Aerolor love the sound and to think I once fitted in tight jeans like them as well.
This tune gets me every time can watch the movie over and over again.
One of my favourite bands is (was?) The Edgar Winter Group. Its too bad as the unit that made up the group only made a few albums & only one was outstanding.
This was a hit off it & their best known song, Frankenstein.
This was done at The Grey Whistle. This group had some very serious talent, Chuck Ruff on drums, Rick Derringer on guitar (Ronnie Montrose is absent from this session Dan Hartman my absolute favourite bassist besides Randy J. Hobbs & of course super instrumentalist, Edgar Winter!
Its a real shame the amazingly talented Dan Hartman had to die of a brain tumor in his 40’s from AIDS. Also, unfortunately Chuck Ruff died as well in 2001 I believe.
Please stick, with it as its a little long but well worth it if you love rock!
Big fan of Dr. Hook. Love this one Dave
