Sounds That Rocked Your Boat

Just love Francoise Hardy and have many of her cd’s.

Also like Marianne Faithful. This is one of her recording from the 1970’s.
If of a fragile mind PLEASE DO NOT PLAY IT, you have been warned and I don’t want people complaining about liberated 60/70’s music or me.

Why D’ya Do It?

Lovely ones Meg. I’d not heard those for years. :slight_smile:

Not heard “Boogie” either for a while. :smiley:

Ooooooh!!! I played it!! :twisted:

… Heathcote-Williams diatribe against jealousy is not everyone cup of tea that is for sure Mike :shock: :slight_smile:

This is one of my singles I bought back in the day. I still think its a fantastic song. Lots of content to it.

First heard that song Meg when a lady posted it on an over 50Forum, creased me up as it was posted at me.
Still very, very innocent compared with the words in todays rap songs (if you can call them that}. Reason the older folk never complain is one they never listen to the stuff or if they do they cant understand a word.
Not sure otherwise how they get away with “killing pigs” (police) lyrics and the sort of lyrics in songs such as “NOTORIOUS B.I.G.”. Really hate it all.

Oh yes Joy, thought “40 Licks” would be on the agenda, you cant beat a fancy liqueur , mine is a Glava.

I’ll remember that. :mrgreen:

I always remember these on the radio and NO I am not as old as the video before some bright spark tells me I am. :-p:lol:

I was a Beatle fan :smiley: Had posters on my wall. :lol:

Well try some of these on your bedroom walls, never too late to start again.

Kings of Leon

Hope Longfellow is still getting his boat rocked…smile

One for you CC, listen to the lyrics.:lol:

:lol::lol:

Ooooh yes, why not? :shock::lol::lol:

Might have capsized. Not seen him anywhere for a few days.
We’ll have to send out a search party. :smiley:

:lol::lol::lol: That’s very apt as it happens Spittie - I have recently re-discovered peanut butter and love it. :mrgreen:

This was one of my record collection! I remember buying my first pair of bell bottoms after buying this!! :smiley:

Yep still rocking Duke been using my carpentry knowledge to make planters for various friends and of course myself.The only time I can do it is when the weather is good.

I’ll stick with Kings of Leon, great group.
