Just watching this fascinating interview with Sophia the robot / humanoid developed by Hanson Robotics. You may have previously come across Sophia, but today is the first time I have seen an interview. It’s quite amazing how expressive the eyes and facial movements are. According to the interview Sophia’s face is modelled on Nefertiti

The interviewer discusses the threat of using AI and robots for war with the robot. The response is evasive.

One of the inspirations was to use this type of robot in nursing homes. How would you feel having a robot companion to help you if you were in the position of needing care in the future?

I find this stuff fascinating as well.
I think AI is going to catapult human knowledge into the future at hypersonic speed.
Wether this is a good thing remains to be seen but I’m excited to see where it leads. :sunglasses::+1:
