But he didnā€™t write the words, someone else did & he didnā€™t like it. I love the words, they bring back bitter sweet memories to me of that time, because I had a sailor boy friend.

Oh, I know it is upsetting folks, but still, bringing back those memories helps us also to remember the good times too.

I actually asked a lot of people to recall songs that made them cry, I also asked them what songs made them happy. I got far more recalled on this theme, then the other.
